I second that big time. You're right about the age of the tracks, when I
joined the list in Oct 94, we were just picking the artwork. The tracks were
already in place! It is a solid vindication of the artists themselves that
everything on this CD is still excellent, and while a lot of new sounds are
coming on stream, nothing here sounds sadly dated. As for Alan, a big bold
brave move, and one which will not be regretted from the artistic point of
view. Lets hope not from the financial point of view either - I hope he can do
it again one day.
